Data Talks onboarding process

Start up

  • The Data Talks project manager books a start up meeting with the client, the point of contact on client side. 

  • Go through the signed business deal to make sure the scope is clear and if there have been any changes.

  • Go through project plan and tasks with client and set start date and end date.

  • Go through the onboarding journey with the client.

  • Project manager informs client about ways of working in two week sprints and Asana as project tool.

  • Data Talks collects system information from client to configure the settings.

  • The project manager assigns customer tasks to the point of contact to get started with the onboarding.

  • The project manager will book meetings for the design of the solution.

Design

  • We have a meeting regarding your business and technical requirements of the platform. The aim is to have a clear requirement description from that meeting. 

  • Examples of business requirements is email templates, forms, pop-ups, automatic workflows, segmentations, rules etc. Technical requirements how integrations should work, data capturing, data field mapping etc. 

  • Together we design the platform based on your needs. 

  • The point of contact confirms the design before start working.

Configuration & Build

  • From the requirements start building and configure the platform to match your needs. We work in two-week sprints according to the project plan.

  • Data Talks configures all the collected system information and sets up the platform.

  • On the client side the point of contact is involved in all steps to look at.

Testing & Go live

  • Before Go live we need to test two times to be sure everything is working according to the solution design. 

  • We first do what we call a pre acceptance test where our test team make sure everything is working. 

  • When our testing is done and validated we let you as a client do an acceptance test to make sure it works according to your requirements. If something is not working we will fix that. 

  • Then we go live! 

Training

  •  As a part of the handover we do a training for you as a client to be able to manage the platform on your own. 

  • We do a ground training where we go through the basic functionality of the platform to train you to manage the it on your own. 

  • To verify your knowledge of the platform we send out a survey after the training.

  • If you want a more advanced training we can provide that and tailor it for your needs. 

Handover

  • The Data Talks project manager books a meeting with the point of contact for a handover and workshop.

  • The aim of the workshop is to define the goals for the next 6 months and what support is needed from Data Talks to achieve those goals.

  • The Data Talks project manager has prior to the meeting documented all settings and features for the platform in a solution description document that we go through with the client.

  • After the meeting the onboarding is done and we have decided the plan forward.
